A few weeks ago I wrote about being filmed for the commercial Lehigh would air during the 150th meeting for LeLaf over CBS. I finally got to see the finished product at the game and see myself on the Jumbotron. I’ve never been on TV before so this was really cool for me to be a part of it. You can see the commercial here or watch below. I’m the guy welding on the second floor in the closing scene.
Yesterday I was lucky enough to take part in a once in a lifetime opportunity by being filmed for a TV commercial for Lehigh that will be aired nationwide. On November 22, the day of our big football rivalry match with Lafayette, each school’s commercial will be aired on CBS Sports as well as on the Jumbotron at Yankee Stadium before the game. I was contacted because the production crew thought Steel Bridge Club would have been a good fit for one of the scenes. And while I can’t away too many details on the commercial, I can say this, it is uniquely Lehigh and perfectly captures and represents what we do. I’m so excited for it to air! Below are a few pictures of me on the set.
For anyone who doesn’t know, this year is the 150th meeting for our big football rivalry match against Lafayette. It’s usually a big deal, but this year it’s especially big. The game is going to be held at Yankee stadium November 22nd and will be broadcasted on CBS Sports network. Each school gets to make a 30 commercial that’ll play on the day of the game and the Steel Bridge Club was asked to participate. I and a few other member of the team were lucky enough to be free during the time of the shoot so we get to be in it. I’m not sure on the specifics of what the commercial will be or what my role in it will be but after tomorrow I’ll know. Updates to come!!!
