One of the great things about living in this area is that twice a year local restaurants in Bethlehem band together with the Downtown Bethlehem Association and have “Restaurant Week”. This year, from January 26th to February 1st, 25 restaurants will be participating. Each restaurant offers either a fixed-menu meal or a limited-selection menu for diners to choose from. The best part is that the prices are more “student friendly” than they might otherwise be at some of these restaurants. This makes it a perfect opportunity for friends to go out and try something new, or for two students to go out on a nice date. Most restaurants only offer their restaurant week menu for dinner, but some also offer for lunch or even breakfast. My personal recommendations are trying the Bethlehem Brew Works and Apollo Grill, but all of the options sound good. I’m hoping to try to try either The Tap Room at Historic Hotel Bethlehem or Tapas on Main.
Another very convenient thing is that Easton also does a Restaurant Week, which just adds to the whole range of restaurants that are available to try! Though they may be a little bit more of a drive, they are definitely worth it! Unfortunately, Easton’s Restaurant Week tends to be the week right before Bethlehem’s, but there’s no complaining here.
